Fox Valley Literacy incorporated on International Literacy Day, September 8, 1990 and provides English literacy education to adults with the help of trained volunteer tutors. We serve the residents of Outagamie, Calumet, and Waupaca Counties.
The Fox Valley Literacy:
- promotes literacy awareness
- publicizes the availability of literacy services
- recruits and train volunteer tutors
- matches tutors with interested and motivated students
- arranges for convenient tutoring locations
- provides for small group and classroom instruction
The mission of Fox Valley Literacy is "to improve people's lives and build community by providing and coordinating literacy services."
