Becoming a volunteer tutor is a rewarding experience. If you like to read - and like people - you will be a great tutor! Our 14-hour training program is designed for anyone. The Four Easy Steps to Becoming a Tutor:

1. Complete an application
    Call, email, stop by our office, or request an application below.  

2. Sign-up for a volunteer orientation session and a tutor training workshop. 
    Click here for upcoming orientation and training dates.  

3. Attend the one-hour orientation. 
    Come learn about our organization and meet other people interested in tutoring. 

4. Complete the 14-hour tutor training.
    Then you'll receive your tutor certification and get matched with an adult learner.
